The Compassion Experience is a free community-wide event that brings visitors into true stories of life in the developing world (India, Uganda or Bolivia). Each guest receives an iPod and headphones and takes a 20-minute, multi-media tour—walking through homes, streets, markets and schools. You’ll experience sights, sounds and events from the lives of actual Compassion children, narrated from their own perspective, that will give an inside look into how they live and their story of hope. It will be an excellent way for your family to experience the realities of extreme poverty and how we can live out our faith in a practical way.
Compassion International is the world’s largest Christian child development organization that permanently releases children from poverty. Founded in 1952, Compassion successfully tackles global poverty one child at a time, serving more than 1.3 million children in 26 of the world’s poorest countries.
